The journal for our 50th anniversary is now available in its entirety.
The principal goal of the organization is “Benevolence To Those Less Fortunate.” Our membership includes principals, managers and employees of customs brokers, freight forwarders, airline personnel, truckers, cargo container stations, US Customs & Border Protection employees, insurance agents, printers, industrial machinery and food suppliers, florists, lawyers, etc. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars annually for people in need.
The Semantics operates all year round and relies solely on our volunteer members to accomplish our mission. There are no paid employees; and that allows that 100% of all profits derived from donations and fund raising efforts go directly to those less fortunate.
The organization’s overall theme is to combine “Fun and Frolic with Benevolence.” A group of dedicated people have a great time together making this theme a reality.
