First, I would like to thank the Board Members, Officers, and each and every member for his/her support in helping us grow.
I am deeply honored and humbled to have become part of a list of the most incredible past presidents who have led this organization to become a beacon lighting the way to hope for those less fortunate than us.
For more than forty years, our members have banded together whenever someone was in need. When we are lucky enough to be part of the helping, words cannot describe how good it feels. I can only say that I still become overwhelmed with emotion when I look at the face of someone we have helped. Simply stated, Benevolence is not what we do. Benevolence is who we are. A dear friend recently told me if you have a dollar give fifty cents to someone who needs it more then you. Sharing is a wonderful gift called “The Semantics”.
Sharing provides such a terrific feeling and that feeling is the most wonderful gift you will ever receive. Nothing can lift you up or make you as proud as seeing how your sharing affects the people you reach out to.
I hope that I will, with everyone’s help, move forward and make the name of The Semantics more widely known through our communities.
A special thanks to our wives, husbands, children, grandchildren and all the individuals and companies for their time and donations that keep us moving forward.
