| • The annual 'Store party' at St. Mary's Hospital in Bayside, NY on December 6, 2006. |
The Semantics held the annual store party at St. Mary's hospital in Bayside, NY on Wednesday, December 6th, 2006. We call it a Store because we set up tables all around the play room to make it look like a store so the children can pick out presents for thier mothers, fathers, and siblings to give out on Christmas day. The presents are donated and purchased by The Semantics, then we wrap the gifts. Each child picks a holiday card to give with the gift. |

We call it the Store because we purchased gifts that the patients can give to their mothers, fathers brothers or sisters on Christmas. The gifts are donated or purchased by the Semantics. The child picks the gift, we wrap the gift and give a greeting card to present to whoever receives the gifts. |
